Catch Can
Acquired a cheap catch-can from eBay...
Both ports in the catch can are 3/8" NPT and it came with 2 x 1/2" barb fittings.
The PCV valve in the 86 has a 3/8" barb, where the inlet manifold has a 1/2" barb so the factory hose has different diameters at each end.
Instead of trying to clamp a 1/2" hose down on the 3/8" barb at the PCV, I swapped one of the fittings that came with the can with a Speedflow fitting to suit (a 421-06-06 in black).
This allowed me to run a 3/8" hose from the PCV valve to the catch can and 1/2" hose from the catch can to the intake manifold.

Fire Extinguisher
The drive (pardon the pun) to prepare the 86 for track work starts with mounting a CAMS-approved fire extinguisher.
There are all sorts of solutions in how/where to mount an extinguisher, however the centre console provides a perfect fit!
Removing the cup holder and rubber lining reveals 2 x M6 bolts which retain the console...
Sourced some longer bolts and got the cardboard out to mock-up a template...
Transferred to steel...
Voila!
